CURRICULUM:

THERE ARE TWO PROGRAMS TO CHOOSE FROM:

Certificate Program: Professional Astrology Certificate (PAC)

10 courses, 450 total classroom hours

Diploma Program: Theoretical and Applied Cosmic Cybernetics (TACC)

10 courses, 450 total classroom hours. Prerequisite: Must have completed PAC certificate program to enroll in this program.

DETAILS OF THE CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA PROGRAM

There are two programs that students may enroll in, the Certificate program and the Diploma program. The Diploma program is a continuation of the Certificate program. After successfully completing the first 10 courses, students receive the Professional Astrology Certificate (PAC). Students may enroll in the Certificate program, and upon completing this program decide whether they wish to enroll in the Diploma program. Students who continue their studies and complete 10 additional courses and all requirements for the Diploma program receive the Diploma in Theoretical and Applied Cosmic Cybernetics (TACC).

There are no electives in the Certificate program (first 10 courses). There are 4 elective courses in the Diploma program (second 10 courses).

Preparation for Employment:

PAC: The Certificate program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and expertise needed to be a competent professional astrologer or to work in a field that requires expertise in astrology.

Graduates of the Certificate program are also eligible to take the ISAR (International Society for Astrological Research) exam to become ISAR Certified Astrological Professionals (CAP).

TACC: The Diploma program provides additional vocational and academic training and practicums that ensure that the students has a comprehensive knowledge of many different astrological traditions and theories.

Students are also trained in areas such as astronomy, research methodology and statistics, and more in-depth astrological studies. This training enables the graduiate of the TACC program to do more advanced work in the field of astrology and areas related to astrology.

Students in the TACC program are trained in business, communication, and computer skills. Some subject areas covered are: How to legally establish a business, insight into viable employment opportunities, rules for writing effective letters and articles, issues involved in publishing, practical and effective ways to deliver successful public addresses, and to succeed as an instructor, and awareness of different cultural expectations in conducting international businesses and working with international clients and colleagues.

Graduates of the diploma program can apply for National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR) Level IV Certification.
